Transportation & Parking
Notice of Updated Patient Transport Policy – Effective June 1, 2025
Western Wisconsin Health is updating our patient transport policy to better ensure safety and efficiency for patients and staff.
Starting June 1, 2025, WWH staff will no longer assist patients with transfers out of vehicles in the parking lot.
If you require assistance transferring out of a vehicle, please follow these guidelines:
During Valet Hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays): 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Pull under the canopy/ vestibule at the main entrance. Let the valet staff know that you need assistance. The Valet staff will request assistance from WWH Clinic staff. Clinic staff will then assist you and escort you to your appointment.
Outside of Valet Hours:
Outside of valet hours does require you to have a caregiver/ driver. Pull under the canopy/ vestibule at the main entrance. Call 715-684-111 upon arrival and pull up to the front entrance. WWH staff will notify clinic staff to meet you and provide assistance. Your caregiver/driver will then need to park the vehicle in the parking lot during your appointment(s).
During and After Your Visit
- If you have additional clinical/ outpatient appointments, clinic staff will assist you in getting to your next clinical/ outpatient appointment.
- Once all clinical/ outpatient appointments are completed, clinic staff will assist you back to the canopy/ vestibule.
- Your caregiver or valet staff will then bring your vehicle to the canopy for pickup.
We appreciate your cooperation as we implement these changes to enhance safety and improve patient’s experience.
