FREE Bleeding Control Basic Course

Wednesday, March 26 | 5:00 – 6:00 PM | Baldwin EMS Garage

Bystanders are always the first on the scene before trained personnel arrive. Learn what actions to take that can make the difference between life and death. This program is designed to empower the public to make the difference in a life-threatening emergency by teaching the basics of bleeding control, including how to apply a tourniquet. This is a 2-part course with an interactive online course and a hands-on course to teach wound packing and tourniquet applications. The online course work is required prior to taking the hands-on course work. Industries and farms will be put in a drawing to receive 1 of 4 packages with packing supplies and a tourniquet at completion of the course.
