Licensed Professional Counselor

Alison Weix earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from UW-Eau Claire. After working as a Mental Health Coordinator in several school districts, she pursued her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from UW-Stout. She specializes in Alcohol and Drug Counseling, Eating Disorders, crisis, and trauma therapy.  Her special interests include holistic health, trauma-focused therapy, depression, and anxiety.

Alison uses an emotions-focused and Adlerian approach in her practice, believing that childhood experiences shape how we interact with our current environment. She enjoys helping clients make meaningful connections and develop coping strategies to improve their lives.

Outside of work, Alison cherishes time with her husband and two children, and she enjoys knitting, baking, and sipping warm coffee on cool mornings.
