OB/GYN Provider

Dr. Christopher Ott is a dedicated OB/GYN with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care. A Wisconsin native, he earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then completed his residency at the Medical College of Ohio, where he further developed his passion for obstetrics and gynecology.

Coming from a family of healthcare providers, Dr. Ott initially envisioned a career in surgery, blending his love for art and science. However, during medical school, he found his niche in OB/GYN—a specialty that allowed him to combine surgery with general medicine while building long-term relationships with his patients. He values the opportunity to guide women through different stages of life and believes in the importance of proactive healthcare.

Dr. Ott spent 16 years practicing in Wisconsin before joining Minnesota Women’s Care in the Twin Cities. His passion for rural healthcare and small communities brought him back to Wisconsin, where he is committed to providing high-quality care in areas where medical services are increasingly scarce.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ott enjoys spending time with his family and two beloved Great Pyrenees dogs. A lifelong supporter of the arts, he expresses his creativity through drawing, painting, and photography. Music is another passion—he plays guitar and drums for relaxation and has recently taken up piano lessons to challenge himself. He values lifelong learning and embraces new experiences both in and out of the medical field.
