Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
Holly Stainer graduated from Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire in 2016 with an associate degree in nursing. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in nursing through Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2019. Holly has dedicated her career as a registered nurse to the field of oncology, gaining extensive experience and expertise.
In May 2024, Holly completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, specializing as an Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-BC). During her graduate studies, she developed a deep connection with the geriatric population through her clinical rotations. Her scholarly DNP project, "Implementing a New Communication Template to Improve Communication Between Hospital and Nursing Home Nurses," highlighted her commitment to enhancing care transitions for elderly patients. This work sparked a passion for improving the quality and coordination of care for older adults.
Holly is now focused on providing specialized, comprehensive care to the elderly population, managing both acute and chronic medical conditions in the comfort of their homes. Her dedication ensures patients receive high-quality, personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
In her free time, Holly enjoys spending time outdoors, riding horses, and working on her farm with her husband, son, and their animals, including dogs, horses, and beef cows.
